Bristol-based Illustrator, trainee art teacher and a member of the illustration collective Drawn in Bristol.

After graduating in 2010 with a degree in animation, I worked on a couple of animation productions including Aardman’s ‘The Itch of the Golden Nit'(Tate Movie Project) before joining  Drawn in Bristol and have since been exhibiting work in a number of venues including the Grain Barge, Mshed, Grounded Cafe and Colston Hall.

In addition to exhibiting, I sell my artwork in the form of prints and cards in Co-lab on Nelson Street and in By the Yard in Cheltenham.

I create magical, colourful, weird little worlds and like so many others, enjoy juxtaposing the surreal and the mundane. Most of my inspiration comes from the natural world around me, experiences and the books I read and I am mostly influenced by artists like; Margaret MacDonald, Mary Blair, Aubrey Beardsley, Dudok de Wit and James Jean.

I mainly work in pen and pencil with inks, acrylics or digital colouring techniques and handmade textures. I also occasionally experiment with printing and collage.

This blog is a collection of doodles, finished illustrations, information and musings.
